Smith & Wesson 329PD .44 Mag/.44SW 4" Airlite HIVIZ
[163414]
$957.00
by John S Date Added: Saturday 05 September, 2009
Light as a bag of feathers. The recoil of this pistol is awesome--the precieved recoil seems to be more than that of my S&W 500 Magnum. (same goes for my for my S&W 360 PD, 1 7/8" barreled .357). Takes awhile to get used to due to the recoil but after about 50 rounds it's just as accurate as just about any other revolver I have. One feature that gleams to me is the fiber optic front sight, you can accuire the target almost immedicately. The rear sight is a V, not the usual square notch most smith's have. I highly recommend a good padded shooting glove and ear protection is a MUST--not optional, even when outdoors. I don't have any shooting gloves so I use a pair of my motorcycle riding gloves. For everyday range shooting, I recommend reduced load bullets, not the full power 240 grain Hornaldy XTPs I first shot in it. It's a couple hundred more that a 6XX series stainless 44 but the reduced weight is well worth the money.
