I did a lot of reading and research before I bought this 1911. I was impressed by the reviews and I am equally impressed with the actual item. What a gun! Smooth operator, easy trigger, mild recoil and a nice looking gun. I have nothing but good to say about this Taurus pistol I took it to the range the first day I received it, shot a hundred rounds and was very pleased with the accuracy. I am not a marksman, but had no trouble putting 4 out of the first seven shots in the center of the target. I just shook my head....it was so easy and the gun simply performs. Only problem I had was putting it back together...scratched the finish a bit with the slide...still not too confident I could do it right the first time. I have shot the pistol three times and had diffuculty putting it back together each time. There is a video on the internet which helps, but I am still struggling to get it right . Other than that, absolutely five stars for the gun and thanks to Bud's for helping with the order. Derek was professional from start to finish.
