Had used a SS Walther PPK as my primary back-up for about thirty years. Several times while at the range practicing, I accidentally would seriously cut the web on my shooting hand, due to my having to hold the pistol "high" due to my large palm size. A friend let me try his Sig P232, and it was a perfect fit for me!
Immediately ordered a new Sig P232 in stainless from Buds, and picked it up at a nearby FFL license shop a week later. After spending a few minutes carefully admiring the craftsmanship applied to the pistol, I field stripped it down and "cleaned it", more for my personal satisfaction than anything else.
Only one thing will take a bit of getting used to, that being the European style mag release, but I'll keep practicing this new skill until I feel confident in my abilities to make a reasonable magazine swap.
