This an awsome little folding skinner, it's locking mech.is a two step mech. the blade has a small dibit that is drilled into it the permits a little bead the extends from the frame lock keeping the knife from opening when carrying. When you open it this little bead that is tooled into the frame lock clicks when the blade stock swings past the frame lock, them the blade locks in place when that passes past the frame lock. Now opening the knife is a two hand process so this blade is not quick to be deployed, or to close for that matter. If thats what you want get something else the frame lock will eat your thumb raw if your fingers aren't beefy from working with them, it'll bruise the tip of your thumb. Otherwise it is a great liltle skinner, it comes with the belt clip in a point down carry, but i plan to rearrange the belt clip in a point up carry fashion. This one is going on my pack shoulder strap. Thank's Buds!!!
