Purchased this gun from Bud's mid-2010. Out of the box at my FFL the gun seemed OK except for several machine marks on the frame and front sight and one rather large indentation on the cylinder, but accepted it anyway since the price was reasonable and it it dry fired OK w/snap caps at the FFL. However upon firing for the first time at the range, the cylinder would not rotate after firing without using excessive force. Returned to Taurus for repair with a letter of explanation. Taurus sent the gun back 4 weeks later full of lube stating the gun performed within spec. Next time out...exact same problem of jammed cylinder...apparently Taurus had done nothing! A friend was with me this time however, and examined the gun closely and discovered a burr inside the frame near the firing pin. He filed it down with a swiss army knife and the gun functioned perfectly after that.

This was my first and last wheel gun and Taurus purchase. No prob w/Bud's, just sub par manufacturing and QA from Taurus.
