My young sons and I use the Taurus Loading Tube with our Henry Classic Lever Action H001Y rifle. We have both the Taurus 5-6272 LOADING TUBE AND Spee-D-Loader Tube Magazine Loader. We prefer the Taurus hands down. It is easier for my young boys to operate. The Taurus loading tube sits inside the barrel with a little paper clip-like lever you pull when you want to release your rounds into the barrel. It is easy to see exactly how many rounds are inside. We use this for the Small Bore Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette matches where you can only use 5 rounds at a time. The Taurus Loading Tube is PERFECT for this. The Spee-D-Loader is good, but requires more fine motor skills if you know what I mean ! because it does not actually sit inside the top of the barrel when you load it. If you are doing a lot of fast plinking in one sitting, you may want the Spee D Loader. If you are doing a silhouette match or have younger children learning, or you are not doing a ton of plinking in one sitting, the Taurus Loading Tube is the way to go.
