I did a lot of research B4 going with CZ over Remington and others. The more I researched the better the CZ became. Picked a .243 simply because I like the Ballistics of the round. Could not be more pleased with the quality of the wood stock. Not the most important feature, but it ought to look good for the money as well I think. Most importantly, it is a consistant & straight shooting rifle. I have set it up with a Millett 6-25X scope. Also one of the very best scopes for half the price IMHO of many on the market. This setup has a long range accurate punch at 800 yds plus.
FYI, I've had a nice Remington 700 in a 30.06 caliber since the late 70's and it is an excellent weapon as well, but I don't think they compete with the CZ today.
