This is a GREAT HANDGUN! I absolutely love it, and since I bought it Dec 20, I got 3-13 round mags and an extra mag pouch(IF ANYONE BOUGHT AN XD OR XDM FROM OCTOBER THRU END OF DEC YOU HAVE TWO DAYS TO MOVE ON THIS 'Gear up program, TAKE ADVANTAG!), so FROM THE FACTORY I have 1-16 round mag and 4-13 round mags(I prefer the 16 rnd mag w/out the sleeve and use IT as my backup mag most of the time). It feels just as great in hand as my XDM 3.8 .40, just a little different and I can get all my fingers on the grip even without the pearce extension, its SUCH A PERFECT GUN FOR ME!! I was looking at the XDM 3.8 compacts, but it doesnt offer anything more than a little better ballistics, but w/124 grn +P Gold Dots, It'll get the job done! And the 3.8 is a little longer and not as easy to conceal, so I might look at one later but for ONE double stack CCW pistol to backup my PF9 the XD-SC's are PERFECT, and VERY SHOOTABLE! And comparing to the Glock 26, apart from having a better grip angle, no stupid finger grooves and no giant HUMP at the bottom, it's 13+1 FROM THE FACTORY!! No +2 baseplates to get 12+1, with that mod it becomes THE EXACT SAME height and still has one less round. And I like Glocks, just think their 'crown' is at risk with the XDM, and now I see even the XD's, in this case the sub-compacts simply ROCK! And it's as accurate as ANY full size pistol, and has a special somewhat 'looser' rifling to enhance velocity without losing ANY accuracy out of the 3.01" bbl. It's the most useful sized and has the capabilities to be your CCW weapon and then your home defense gun at home with PLENTY OF FIREPOWER and very manageable recoil! And a mini light rail to boot! Once I get my Supertuck Deluxe(HATE THAT IT TAKES A MONTH! But they have to make them by hand.. GREAT HOLSTER TOO!!!!). GET ONE!!!! THEY ROCK, VERY RELIABLE, ACCURATE, AND PACKS SOME FIREPOWER!! So glad I traded my P89 for such a great weapon, and hold's 13+1 vs the full sized P89's 15+1!! I needed a good CCW, have enough full sized pistols, for now....1911!!! They rock, pure and simple!
