Superb gun!! This is my favorite 9mm. It fits the hand perfectly, is accurate, and is safer than the Glock (in my opinion). After firing over 2,200 rounds this gun has jammed only twice (and once it was because I "rode the slide back"). Try getting that kind of reliability with an out of the box 1911! The XD doesn't care what kind of cheap ammo you put thru it - it goes bang every time. Finally, the next time you're in a gun store, check out what kind of gun the store workers are carrying. Around here (south east US), it's mostly XD's hmmmmmmmm...........
