Accuracy, reliability, fit and finish is the equal of our Glock and our M&P9. However, the white dots on the sights are much smaller than the others, and it has a very large hole in the slide's rear cover plate that I see no useful purpose for (the M&P has a hole too, but it's much smaller). The front "button" end of the XD's guide rod sticks out from the front of the slide, which is unlike that of any other semi-auto that I've ever seen. Sooner or later, something is going to get caught on that protrusion. It looks like a silly afterthought. The trigger pull is heavier than the Glock or the M&P. However, it's not the weight that bothers me, but is instead the overall feel which is slightly rougher than the others. Stripping is not quite as easy as that of the Glock, but it is a slight bit easier than the M&P.

The cost is similar to the Glock and M&P, but you end up paying for cheap plastic accessories that you might or might not use. Since it does not provide any accuracy or reliability advantage over the Glock or M&P, and since it's trigger isn't as good, I would not rate it as high. However, as it's the best pistol to ever come out of Croatia, I'll give it four stars.....
