I was so excited to finally purchase a Delta Elite. It saddens me to report that it was just an awful, awful gun! What non-existent quality control let this one get out of the factory, I have no idea! Struggled through 250 rounds, hoping in would \"break in\". No such luck. Two biggest problems were failure to feed and failure to extract, plus failures to go into battery. Usually I could not shoot more than two rounds (factory ammo, no hollow points) before one of the above problems would occur. Best was 5 rounds, never could get through an entire magazine. Sometimes all I could shoot was 1 round before a problem shut the gun down.

Do NOT buy this gun, save your money!!!!! I sold it for a huge loss to a LGS after disclosing all the problems. Will never again purchase a Colt product based on my experience with this gun. Sad to say, I was hoping to be enjoying the Delta Elite for years to come, and ended up keeping it about two weeks after saving months to purchase the gun!!
