Arrived as expected and in good working order. I haven't fired it yet, but I have another like it in 7mm-08 and it is very accurate. I like the 25 inch barrel for this 45-70. Longer tube means more effective burn of powders. If I could find affordable wood furniture I would dress it up, but it will suit my purpose. I handload this cartridge and can put a 350 hard cast lead bullet over 16 grains of Trail Boss powder. Runs around 1100 fps but kicks like a .22 Magnum.
