I ordered this gun on 11/21. It arrived at my FFL holder 11/25. I took it home and shot about 100 rounds of mixed ammo including 230 gr. FMJ, 230 gr. lead roundnose, handloaded 200 gr. Hornady XTP, and 230 gr. Winchester Ranger T-Series. I had one minor hiccup: a Fiocchi 230 gr FMJ failed to feed; but it was easily cleared and I had no other issues. The gun was very accurate out of the box. The fit and finish is obviously high quality. Though I've owned other 1911's, this is my first Colt. So far I'm impressed. This is also my first Commander length 1911 style pistol. I think like the balance much better than the full size models.
