Really neat rifle! Not top quality, but it is simple use, reliable and a very fuctional rifle. I bought mine to throw in my bug out bag so I had a rifle that could take down small game if needed if I got lost and was in a survival type situation. I shot 3 types of ammo through mine when I first got it to test it out. Winchester HV's; Remington Gold Bullets; and CCI Mini Mags. All cycled well through the gun and only had a couple of stove pipes with the Winchester ammo. It definately prefers to eat the higher quality, higher velocity ammo, but it will shoot some of the cheaper stuff. I'm sure once a 1000 rounds have been put through it and things get smoothed out and the recoil springs soften up a bit, it will probably shoot just about anything. The elevation was right on out of the box at about 20 to 30 yards. I had to adjust the front sight a little as it was shooting about 2 to 3 inches to the left. Once I made the sight adjustment, I could hit a golfball nearly everytime at 20 yards.
If you are looking for a top quality, pretty rifle...keep looking! This gun was built to be compact and stow away without taking up space or adding a bunch of extra weight. It is more than accurate enough to take small game if you needed to spend a few days in the woods after getting lost on a hiking trip. It is ideal backpackers, bug out bags, and is a ton of fun to plink with. Don't expect perfection and you will fall in love with this rifle. It does the job it was intended to.
