I have been a handgun enthusiast for quite a while and have bought from Bud's prior to this purchase of my Henry rifle. My dealings with Bud's have been smooth and pleasant. When I'm interested in checking something out as a possible acquisition, I like to look and see what Bud's has to offer before I make a purchase.

Things worked out to where I felt it was time to look at long guns, since I owned no long guns at all. I did a good bit of study online to see what was available. Also, two of my gun buddies at the range spoke very highly of Henry rifles. Long story short -- I ended up purchasing the Henry Big Boy in .44 Magnum with 20" barrel. Not only is the weapon beautiful to look at (with its stunning brass receiver), but I'm already reloading .44 Magnum (and .44 Special) that I shoot in my Ruger Super Blackhawk revolver. Being able to use the same rounds in my wheel gun and in this new rifle really appealed to me.

I have had my Henry to the range twice now and am *very* pleased with its performance! Running some rounds through my chronograph and comparing muzzle velocity between my Henry and my Super Blackhawk is a lot of fun! It wouldn't surprise me at all if I don't have another one of these beauties before long. (It most likely will be in .45 Colt!) Hey! What's not to love about a gorgeous rifle that's made in America? Thanks Henry! Thanks Bud's! I've really enjoyed this one already and I look forward to lots of service from this new Henry Big Boy! It ROCKS! :-)
