Beautiful Rifle! I have 4 other Henry rifles and this one ranks as the most fun to shoot. Not only does it have great looks but it shoots just as well as it looks. I love this 17HMR caliber for flat shooting, inexpensive cartridges, literally no recoil and minimal noise. The guns lever action is very smooth and easy to load. The "Golden Boy" plating is beautiful with no blemishes and the wood stock is perfect form and fit along with adding to the looks of the rifle. I've only run about 150 shells through it so far and with no misfires, or loading problems and that is really good for a gun right out of the box. I rate it as one of the best guns I have.

I purchased this .17 Henry to keep in the family. I haven't shot it yet. However, the mechanics and actions is smooth as silk. The only negative thing I can say is the box that Henry supplied to store these beautiful rifles in. The cardboard box takes aware from the overall product experience. Henry needs to take this into consideration to stay in competition with other gun manufactures. On the other hand, Bud's came through again, all always. I believe Bud's has blown away any of the other online gun sellers. Always a pleasure. Thanks.. Ron-

As always the transaction with Buds was flawless. The Henry is a very smooth gun that is fun to shoot and very accurate. You cannot beat the craftsmanship that is put into Henry firearms.

Well Bud's did it again. I have come to expect the very best from this Company and they haven't let me down yet. My order went through the system and from start to finish was about a week elapsed time to complete the transaction. Now considering I sent them a personal check......THAT's FAST. The rifle is beautiful. I could very easily just hang it on the wall and never shoot it. I don't plan on doing that. This rifle will be shot and I know that it will shoot good. Has an excellent balance to it and I am really amazed at the sights. I have eyes that are shy of 70 years and if I can find iron sights that I can see that is saying something. Anyone that buys this rifle will not be disappointed. JB

This is absolutely the best 17 HMR out there for any price I own 3 of these Henry Goldenboy's and the 17.HMR is my favorite. If you want tack driving accuracy right out of the box then this is the gun for you. 5 out of 5 highly recommended
