Received the gun a little over 2 weeks ago and am pleasantly surprised. I had purchased a Charter Arms Pathfinder a few years before and I have to say charter sure has improved on their guns. The first thing I noticed when I got the gun home was that it had a super smooth trigger pull! No joke, it was buttery smooth and was almost on par with an old S&W K frame I sometimes shoot. The grips are comfy as are all of Charter's grips. It does have a few cons but for the money its hard to beat. Below I have listed all the Major pros and cons. Maybe this will help you decide on it. I will say this, the Fit and Finish on Taurus looks better, But the Charter is a much more rough and rugged design with a better trigger pull. If this is a ccw then it outdoes the Taurus in my honest opinion. I own some Taurus and some Charters, I prefer this gun for protection...
Pros:
-Light Weight
-Comfy Grips
-Excellent Trigger Pull
-Affordable
-100% American Made
Cons:
-Not the Prettiest Revolver (But if it gets cosmetic wear from constant carry you wont be upset)
-Trigger Guard and grip Frame are plastic
