First of all, Bud's was terrific, as always. Never had anywhere near a bad experience here. As for the revolver, it has proven to be exactly what all the hype says about it, and then some. I expected the versatility of multiple calibers, the quality, the accuracy, the fit and finish, the comfortable grips, etc. What I didn't expect was the ergonomic perfection, nor did I expect what is without question the best double-action and single-action revolver trigger I've ever experienced. What I mean by ergonomic perfection is that this doesn't really feel like a hand cannon, even though it is. I am by no means some kind of huge bodybuilder, and I get a senior citizen discount on my coffees these days, yet shooting .454 Casull and .460 Magnum from this revolver is something I can do one-handed. Wouldn't want to do it all day long, and next time I'll probably wear a glove, but still... The recoil is just a really quick push directly backward, without as much muzzle flip as I expected. I thought the revolver would end up a foot higher than where it started, and pointed straight up in the air. Nowhere near that. Not even close. The grips are a huge part of the manageability. Pretty easy to get right back on target. The trigger is so light and smooth in double-action and in single-action that the round is on target before you can think about it. No need to squeeze hard enough to potentially pull the sights off-target. The fun factor is extremely high with the 460V, too, especially when you hear the amazing boom reverberate up and down the valley a few times, and when you see the ridiculous results of 460 magnum hitting a 4"X4" heavy steel target at 50 yards. Gymnasts only wish they could do those kinds of flips and twists, with that kind of height. To summarize: buy one these things. It will make you smile.
