Very disapointed with S&W Quality Control. I received the firearm and immediately noticed it shot very low(about 8" low). After I started cleaning up my brass, I realized it was also damaging ejected shells. I contacted S&W and they tell me to send it in. several weeks go by and i finally receive my firearm. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem. Go the the range, same exact issues. Contact them again, take more pictures and circle the problem areas. I also suggest changing out the slide. I noticed that the barrel was sitting very low in the slide wich could cause the low POI. Also noticed the shells were hitting the slide causing the damage on ejection. Send it back to S&W. Several weeks go by. Receive my firearm. They stated on work form they changed the slide and barrel. Noticed immediately the barrel wasn't sitting as low in the slide. Still looked a little off. took it to the range. Still shoots low, though not nearly as low. Instead of 8" low it now shoots 2" low. Still damaging ejected shells. Contacted S&W again and told them I'd like a refund. Now they want me to send it in on my dime to be looked at by a "gunsmith" for consideration for a refund. Very dissapointed with my purchase. The only thing I can say. is despite these issues. the firearm had no FTE or FTF, but for how long? Should I have to compensate for low POI? Do you think that a firearm damaging shells is tolerable. What if you reload. Things to consider when buying from S&W.
