Just shot my xd mod 2 in 45 acp, feel like this is a great gun for those looking for a concealed carry handgun, its very easy to conceal in my opinion especially with the 9 round flush magazine. I shot it at ten yards and it was pretty accurate for a 3.3 inch barrel, definitely accurate enough for self defense needs. For those who are recoil sensitive I will say that it is a little snappy but for me it was manageable and I'm able to make accurate follow up shots even when rapid firing. Also fired some +p golden saber and some very hot +p underwood ammo through it, a little more recoil with those hot rounds but again, for me it was manageable.
