This is a great firearm for in home defense. It has the handling of a revolver and the power of a long gun. I keep mine loaded with Winchester PDX1 Defender, which has been a very impressive round. Through my own experiments, I have found that any target within 7 yards of the Judge and Winchester PDX1 is in deep trouble. There are some issues with the finish near the muzzle on the barrel but other than that it is extremely fun to shoot and provides an excellent home defense option.

I wanted this pistol for the versatility of ammo and when I shot it , was very pleasantly surprised in the way it shot, the only down side is that with such a short barrel the shotgun shot opens almost at your feet.. Well a few ft away but it sure feels that way.. But the up side was definetly the price.. At 3 different gun shows I saw it ranging from 475 used to 579 new so 422 is a insanely great price for a brand new in the box pistol.. Thanks again Buds

Nice gun for the money . Fits good in my hand and enjoy shooting this gun both 410 & 45 L/C . The next thing is for my wife to shoot it and stay on the feet. She will try anything once. I love this gun and give a 10 . Next to buy is the 357 , 44, and last the 500 S/W all from Taurus They make a nice gun.

Hey, this is a fine piece!!! The action is good both in single and double action. The accuracy is good with the .45 LC at about 20 yards or so, and the 4" bbl. works great with the .410 shells. At 5-7 steps, NO snake wants to take on this revolver! I'm very impressed with the quality, and I believe the 45/410 is one excellent choice for home defense! The 2 1/2" 000 buckshot at about 5 steps puts 2 near point of aim, with one a few inches higher or lower. Overall, the gun is great, and I can certainly understand why they are so hard to get!
