Customer Reviews for Taurus 917B-20 9mm FS 4" Blued

I just got my Taurus 917C-20 pistol. While Taurus claims it is a 20 round gun it came with two 17 magazines. The finish is not blue, but matt black. Unlike the C pictured it has a black blade front sight with a white dot. The warning sticker in the box says, "Read carefully the Instruction Manual before handling this handgun." There was NO Instruction Manual included! I had to download the manual from the Taurus Internet site. The gun feels very good in my hand, but it is not a medium frame, but a large frame. The barrel is 4.25 inches not 4. I will visit my range tomorrow and report on the performance.

This Taurus PT-917B is a nice gun for the price, shorter barrell than 92FS but frame size isn't any different. Haven't been to the range with it yet but does have the extra mag holding 19 rounds plus 17 round mag.. First gun from Buds and everything went well, great service.

I bought a Taurus PT-917 from buds it was shipped to the ffl holder in 5 days very quick service. The gun is a good buy for the money and is quite on target to have a 4 inch barrell. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 8
