This gun is SOLID! it'll handle any .44 magnum load your hand can stand. It's built like a tank, shoots pretty accurately for a 2.75" barrel gun, and is a pleasure to shoot .44 special loads with. The Hogue grip with the Sorbothane insert really cushions the impact of heavy loads on your hand. It' s a great gun, my current favorite, and much more fun to shoot than the Taurus 444 ultralite (titanium) that I sold to buy this gun.
