Ordered the gun from Buds and it took 10 days to arrive at FFL, the communication and update was a bit lacking on Buds parts. I picked up the gun and its a great piece but this particular one was very dirty, almost used and had spots of surface rust around the front sights. I disassembled and used CLP, cleaned it up, tried buffing the rust, it finally did clear up but I thought this was highly unusual. The ticket that came with it said it was test fired and shipped from the manufacturer less than a month ago, so it must have been stored poorly in between that date and I got it. Back to the gun, wonderful trigger, long but very smooth, nice heft, makes it very stable and easy to aim. Very heavy and well built firearm. I plan to enjoy it for many years as these are also very hard to find I am just glad i finally got one. Opted for the 44, price and availability on the 454 Casull ammo helped make the decision.
