A solid tack-driver all the way. I bought this as my first rifle because I was looking for a good learning gun and one that would be suitable for a range of applications. And, okay, I'm partial to carbines. After years of firing the M16/M4 family, I was concerned that adjusting to the 7.62 caliber would be a leap, but the muzzle brake is everything it's made out to be. This rifle shoots completely flat with incredibly reduced recoil. My 110lb sister, who has no formal rifle training at all, was able to group within 2" at 25m sitting supported.
Thanks to the guys at Bud's who made every effort to get this rifle to me - I bought while I was in Iraq, thinking it was going to take them a while to acquire it for me, and they had it before I got home, then bent over backwards to get it to me with all due speed. One of my best internet Customer Service experiences yet!
