Buds was great, they got the gun to me in 3 or 4 business days if I recall correctly.
The gun is crap. Quite literally crap.
See for yourself...

You have to open an account (it's free) and log in to see the pictures.
It's sad that such a historic company has destroyed to quality control in a matter of years.
If you do buy this gun, inspect it THOROUGHLY. I just saw pictures on Cast Boolits website where a 1895 was sold WITHOUT A RIFLED BARREL!
When you pick up from the FFL, check the cycling, the magazine spring tension, bluing, sight alignment, stock to receiver fit, etc.
I screwed up by only cycling the action and checking to see if the safety and moving parts functioned.
I would have much rather have sent the gun back to Buds for a refund or new gun then have to wait for the next month or two for Marlin to 'make it right'.
