One of the most accurate 1911's made. Took it to the range and it performed out of the box well. I have a little getting used to this weapon as previous .40 S&W was a lot more squirrelly. This gun just waits for you to point and fire!!! Well Balanced and very gentle recoil for a .45. I would tell everyone to buy a Kimber

Great gun! Workmanship top notch. Once I learned not to ride the slide home, no mis-fires. Takedown and cleaning a little more complex than a M&P or Glock. Only one magazine and cleaning oil? Very bare bones, Kimber needs to step up and provide more accessories in the box. Accurate, fired 500+ rounds at the range and nice tight groupings. The feel of the grip and balance very good! Recommend!
