Gun looks and shoots great! I've read lots of bad things about Kimber,but this one works flawlessly. I've got about 450 through it and not one problem. I do think it might be over priced just a tad. I think a lot of extra money goes to the grips. They are fantastic though. Overall you can't go wrong with this gun. One last thing! The Kimber mag is junk.Buy Wilson mags.

Of all the pistols I've owned this Kimber Custom Covert is my favorite! It was dead-on at the range at 25' delivering excellent target groups. Most people would say a 5" 1911 would be uncomfortable to carry..quite the opposite this gun is extremly light and hugs to your body... Great service from Buds as always...gun was b'o'd for only a month..well worth the wait. **just a note this guns finish can and does scratch...becareful when taking apart and cleaning.
