Bud's was excellent to deal with, and shipped my order right away. Product was in stock and priced right. I would definitely buy here again.

This 700p LTR 308 is excellent. The 40-X trigger is much better than X Mark Pro. I did dial down the pull to 1.8 pounds before going to the range. A five round group (ignoring one flier) produced a .7 moa group. That is on par with my M&P 10. Excellent purchase!

This rifle is just what I was looking for. Fit and finish are perfect. I like the balance and feel it is something I can hunt with as well as bring to the range for some precision shooting. Overall, it fits me well. The stock is grippy and solid but not overly thick. The weight is negligible with the short fluted barrel. The parkerized finish is done well. Bolt glides smoothly in and out of the action. It is actually one of the smoothest actions I have encountered and I have owned several bolt actions. I have no problem recommending this rifle to anyone. If you want a rifle for medium game in the Midwest this is a good choice. It is also a good choice for the tactical guys out there, or just a good ranch rifle, or truck gun. The short stature makes it a great all arounder for lack of a better term. It is definitely on my short list for the "one gun".

Good looking gun, not a lot of flashy going on with this one. If you want a gun that is great shooting and works good right out the box this is for your. The bolt is as smooth as butter right out the box. Buds shipped the gun to me in a matter of two days. I will for sure purchase from here again.

I finally got out to the range today. I bought 14 boxes of different loads to try through this rifle. I couldn't be more happy with the results. The rifle is light, handy and super accurate. Mine came with the 40x trigger which is one of the best triggers on the market for the Remington 700. I adjusted it down and it's breaking right at 2 pounds. After about 25-30 rounds the barrel was broke in which is more than normal but the results were incredible to say the least. I shot a .31 MOA group at 100 yards with Federal Gold medal 168 gr. Then shot a .17 MOA group with Hornady 168 A-Max. Moved out to 300 yards and shot a .79 inch group with Federal Gold Medal and a 1.118 inch group with the Hornady. I am still in disbelief at how tight these groups were for a factory gun. A+ to buds for quick shipping and I love y'all's layaway plan. Thanks for the awesome rifle.

Rifle was very accurate . I Adjusted the trigger to 2.5lbs . Proper barrel break in and squeezed off 0.4" 100yrd 3 shot groups with 165gr Nosler Custom accubonds . 5 shot groups best was 0.6" worst was 0.8" again at 100yrds .... Very happy with this rifle . To build one for my self to be this accurate and set up the same way would have cost me twice what I paid for it here at Buds . Great Rifle at a GREAT price ! Craig Millett

After 167 rounds of 168gr FGMM I realized that this rifle would not only not shoot as accurately as advertised, but the groups were not consistent or even within Remington "factory spec". (These are supposed to come out at least 1.5MOA rifles from the assembly floor.) I also noticed immediately that whoever assembled the stock from the factory does not know what a straight line is. The hole for the sling and for the bipod are not centered or even in line with each other. This is just lazy. I took the rifle to a local gunsmith who measured the diameter of the bore just inside the crown. Apparently I have a .309 caliber rifle, which will never be able to accurately or consistently shoot as expected or advertised. Shame on you Remington for producing a "LE Rifle" with this bad of craftsmanship. I hope I am the exception to Remington LE products.
