Great transaction and great product from Bud's: my first AR but did alot of research and comparisons on paper and at range before buying. Fit and finish are top notch. Thoroughly disassembled, cleaned, and lubed for my first trip to range. Bought three additoinal, 30-rd MagPul mags as well as a 20-rd MagPul and 5-rd AR Stoner SS mags for bench work and hunting. Mounted a Matech rear sight and sighted at 25 meters. Shot 350 rounds mixed batch of Hornday TAP 55gr FMJ LE Training Ammo, Silver Bear 62 gr JHP, Wolf Gold Match 75gr JHP, and Hornday 75gr TAP JHP. Not one FTF, FTE, jam or malfunction of any kind. Sub 1/2" 5-shot groups at 25 meters with all holes touching. Sub 1" groups at 50-yds all with Matech only on a bench rest. I am an intermediate to good shot and compete occasionally in amateur, 3-gun competitions locally. Mounted a Barska 3-9X42 AR Tactical Scope on 2nd trip to range and sighted at 100yds with the Hornady 55gr FMJ Training Ammo. Shot an additional 150rds without one jam, FTF,or FTE. Overall opinion is that the hype is real. This is a great M4. The C Products built OEM mag is a little cheap but functional. Not enough to take away the 5th star! Thanks Bud's for a great experience and wonderful product...... again!
