I like to wait and try to beat the gun to death before i post a review... Bought RIA's 1911 and was looking for it to be a dissapointment...Looking for it to sound cheap by shaking it to see what rattles. I tried to make it jamb, misfire, pumped as many rounds through it and fast i could... I didnt let me down one bit... took it home refused to clean it and took it back out the next day same result... did find a rub mark on it, i am sure, from my handling. Once i decided i am gonna like it, bought some decent grips and used the plain ones for target practice.. the true suprise was that i was shooting at a coffee can at about 35 - 45 yrds and it was very pleasing to nail it every time with ease..
