Rock Island Armory GI M1911A1 Mil Spec .45

This was my first 1911 purchase and before I could get it to the range I had 4 different guys at the rod and gun club (my FFL goes through my local rod and gun club) tell me that I would be very pleased. They were understating my appreciation for this pistol, I ran 100 rds 230 grain FMJ without a single flaw. The trigger was much smoother than I anticipated and at 25 yards I was putting all my shots on a 11 x 18 poster. I am sure I can improve on that and that was with Tula steel case. I will be buying a second RIA in the near future, probably the tactical version. Thanks BUDSGUNS!
