This is an amazing weapon. I collect 1911s, and this is definitely one of the best I have. ARMSCOR/Rock Island has done an amazing job with this weapon-- it is embarrassingly accurate, even with the GI sights, no rattle, no problems, all the parts are well made. I have fired slightly over 1000 rounds through it, and the only problems I had were magazine related. Which brings me to some crucial advice for anyone buying this weapon...get yourself some MecGar mags, the one that comes with it absolutely sucks. With my MecGars I have not had a single FTF or FTE, and with the stock mag I had 3. I also put some Hogue grips on it, feels like a dream to shoot.I can honestly say I'd trust my life to this weapon.
