Rock Island Model 200 .38 Special Four Inch Barrel Blue Finish S

What a nice little revolver. I bought this for my wife as her kitchen gun. When she is not pistol whipping me with it, she will have it for home protection. I got it yesterday and took it out today for some quick shooting. It shot very well. I believe I read on an site other than Buds that an occasion use of +P's can be used and I loaded a couple mixed with 38spl. You can tell the difference but I think you are supposed to right? It shoots great and very accurate. I was at about 23 yards and held a good pattern. I don't think you could go wrong with a cheap and accurate firearm. I am confident that when this trigger is pulled it will go bang each time.
The ammo being used is from a tub that my father had and some of it was probably about 20 years old. Some were straight lead and some jacketed and some hollow point. They all seemed to fire without issue.
As for Bud's well what can you say. Fast service. very informational and up to date on your status. I think this is my 8th or 9th from Bud's and always come here first. However I did enjoy the layaway when it $300 was not required but I think I understand the business decision behind it. A+ as always.
