Rock Island Armory 1911 Tactical 45 ACP 5" Parkerized

I received this 1911 about a month ago from Bud's. The gun came into my FFL dealer just a couple days after order. It was in great shape but oiled to high hell. Have been to the range 3 times with it so far and have put 350 rounds of fmj through it with only one ftf. I'm blaming that on my brother loading the cheap chip mccormick mag incorrectly. The 8th round needs to be guided up to feed otherwise it sits down. I had to replace the grips as i was not fond of the other ones at all. found some nice python grips on ebay. Only down side to this gun is finding replacement magazines for it. I have had a tough time finding the manufacturered mag that it came with. I have some chip mags but i think if i have any more FTF problems, they will stem from the mags. I highly reccomend this firearm to anyone looking for a reliable 1911 without having to paying an arm and a leg. Very pleased with both buds and RIA.
