I bought two of these 4" guns, after buying two of the 2" models. I waited to put a lot of rounds through them before I commented. These are just great guns. I am confident that they are very reliable. They have performed perfectly.

My partner and I are nature photographers. She's small framed and I was concerned that the 4" might be too bulky to take on shoots - photography shoots. We are not hunters and have them strictly for woods protection in case we do something stupid and get too close to something, even with our telephotos. She picked up the 2" version and promptly told me that she could definitely handle the 4" model if a bear (small black bear in Maine) was charging her. I bought one to be sure and as soon as it got in and she used it we ran to our computer to order the other one. Buds sells out of these really fast. I purchased the hip holsters like Jewels uses in "Flashpoint" and they are comfortable to carry with our gear. They don't weigh too much and are really not in the way much more than the 2" versions. Double Tap makes a 200 grain bullet and I called them and they said that these guns can handle that load fine. But the 4" has so much more power than the 2" with those bullets that we upgraded.

We are not sorry. These 4" guns are just perfect for us. The kick isn't too much for a 5' 2" small boned woman with 200 grain double tap. They have a punch, but for protection they will do just fine. They are very accurate. I'd tell you that her gun is much more accurate than mine, but no matter which the guns she uses it's more accurate than mine. So much for it not being a woman's gun.

We are very happy with the purchase. And I'd just like to thank Shawn in customer service who was so helpful during these purchases. EAA is in Florida and they got right back to me regarding the Double Tap bullets and other questions I had. They are very easy to deal with.
