First, Bud's service was stellar, as always. I had a 91/30 in "Very Good" condition on reserve, and when I saw this lot I sent an inquiry as to whether I could rescind that reserve without penalty and get one of these instead. The very next morning, a rep called & fixed me up.
As for the rifle, I've never seen a Mosin up close in better condition: 1933 Tula, hex receiver, great rifling, no counterbore. ALL serial numbers matched, including the bayonet. Also came with tools & oil can, which I wasn't expecting. Only some *extremely* light scuffing on the wood in a couple spots, obviously rack wear. I don't know where this baby spent the past 65 years or so post-war, but it had the good life.
Once I got it home & cleaned up, I headed back to the website to grab a couple more but alas, they were gone. Get some more, Bud's!!!
