This gun is in excellent condition 1943 Russian Mosin-Nagant. All serial numbers matched: barrel, bolt, floor-plate, butt-plate & bayonet. Seems like the gun was never shot, groves in barrel are excellent and bolt look brand new. Sweet... The stock is beautiful...The only thing is the gun itself had metal stamped markings on the receiver housing stating where it was imported from: Redmond, Washington, type of gun and new serial number. I found out this was ATF rules and importer practices have changed over the years leading to a wide variety of marks with different information and in different locations on the firearm. See on internet for " Mosin Nagant Import Marks".
Due to the US import stamp on the receiver which devalued the collector desires. I gave it a 4 star. Overall- a sweet gun!
