Matching numbers or not these guns are beautiful and a part of history,and the ammo is dirt cheap even with the gougers, plus 7.62x54r can take down anything in north America for you hunters out there. I got a 1932 hex izzy with matching numbers down to the bayonet and cleaning rod(and the cleaning rod wasn't commonly numbered), came in a 5 foot plastic bag packed in 3 inches of cosmoline from every angle, beautiful wood and not a spot of pitting, defiantly worth it, even if you don't get the nicest one in the cosmoline sea, once you catch mosinitis you'll just want more of them...
