Received my M91/30 within a week of E-check clearing the banks, so even though Bud's is obviously very busy they continue to offer reliable and awesome service/prices! UPS seems to have been a little rough with mine as the barrel was sticking out through a hole in the package, but there was no damage to the rifle and all accessories were there. I lucked out and got a BEAUTIFUL 1932-stamped Tula "Hex" receiver with very minimal marking on the stock and pristine bluing on the barrel/receiver. After removing a considerable amount of cosmoline (20hrs of complete dis-assembly + simple green) I found it shows minimal signs of use, functions perfectly, and has matching serial numbers except for the floor-plate on the follower which was obviously re-fitted but functions perfectly and adds to the character of the gun, if you ask me! I am more than satisfied - this rifle is much more pleasing than I expected and I will likely get another! With the gun I received 2 mag pouches, bayonet, 2-compartment oil can, sling with dog collars and tool kit with pouch. I was pleased to find the tool kit included the firing pin gauge-tool so I can verify the setting on the firing pin after removal and reassembly! This was my second purchase from Bud's - along with a S&W M&P 9mm-Pro which is an absolute dream; and I am now a loyal customer saving to make another purchase from them!
FYI: At first I was a little intimidated by the amount of cleaning needed, but the more I cleaned the more I was glad it was there!!! This thing almost looks like it was made last week! Those guys really knew what they were doing when they re-finished and preserved them for storage! I'm almost gonna feel sorry to put surplus ammo in there and pull the trigger... but then again, I can't wait to do it either!
