This is the second mosin I have bought from Bud's. Extremely happy with the purchase, and can't decide which one to make the range gun since they both are awesome. First one, laminate stock in perfect condition. Second, hex receiver in perfect condition. If you are thinking about buying one, stop thinking. It's not enough money to think any more. You will love it like an old pocket watch, because of the historical factor, but it shoots too. The most interesting guns in my collection because of the history. Again, stop thinking, you will love it. Also, I am in no way associated to Bud's, just giving my $.02 on a purchase every gun lover should have. The fact that you can still find cheap ammo will pay for the rifle - just tell that to your wife and you should be fine :).
