Outstanding! Mine was a 1927 ex-Dragoon from Tula. Easy to strip and design is simple and robust. After cleaning it (several pots of boiling water down the barrel and stock, dis-assembly of the bolt, etc., etc.) took it out to the range and ran 30 rounds through it. (Surplus spam can of Romanian, 440 rounds for under $80). Kicked HARD! Recommend purchasing the after-market rubber butt pad (Amazon, $20) AND a gel-fitted slip-on pad ($15).Very accurate and fun to shoot once you manage the recoil. Came with two ammo pouches, sling, oil can, cleaning kit. Recommend you buy some stripper clips (also Amazon, $5 for a pack of 5); loads quick and clean. Surplus ammo is corrosive, so you will have to clean well after shooting, but heck of a great deal for $100! And what a piece of history!!! I find these reviews very helpful when I look for new items and hope you do too. Have a great day!
