These are very good mags. They are not however the best on the planet nor as good as the Wilson Combat. They perform like the Ed Brown mags and I believe the difference is in the spring. The Kimber and Brown has very stiff springs while the WC has a spring that is not as difficult to compress when loading. That said, I suppose the final test will be in the longevity of the spring. The fact that Kimber and Brown has a more stiff spring may make it last longer than the WC. The stiff springs are somewhat difficult to load when you get to round #8.
The last thing that may decide whether you want a Kimber or Wilson would be the cost. WC and Brown are almost twice the cost of the Kimber. Fourteen ($14) Kimber while the Ed Brown and WC are between $29 and $34 each. Thats a pretty big difference.
All of these are better than the stock Colts(I hate to say, since I have several Colts) but putting one of these in place of the stock Colt mags just makes life better and at $14 bucks that good motivation.
