I received my 1911 today, took it home, stripped it, oiled and re-assembled it. Brought it out to try it out, put 50 rounds through it. It shoots beautifully! Very comfortable, accurate shots, I love it. The only negative is the magazine doesn't like to feed the first round in every few magazines or so. I will be buying replacements.
Conclusion: For the money, the Rock Island Armory 1911 is WELL worth it!
