I've been an owner of a variety of different semi-automatic tactical shotguns and this met my expectations for this specific shotgun. I did notice a significant amount of upgrades out there, but out of the box I really didn't have a problem with what was on it stock. I put 600 shells through it and it kept on trucking. I'm used to an elaborate process of cleaning shotguns with a huge amount of parts to deal with on field stripping. This thing disassembles with relatively few amounts of parts with everything accessible for fast cleaning. In fact after firing several hundred shells I didn't even notice fouling that would impede the operation of the action. That is the most important thing for me, reliability in a firearm. The ordering process was straightforward and the shipping was quick. I've ordered several guns through buds and I never had anything but a flawless execution.

Great customer service, prompt no hassle, timely delivery. This shop has a great selection and my M-4 was in good condition. I was given the run around and put on waiting list with some other shops and never heard back from any of them, including some local dealers! Bud’s had the firearm I wanted and was completely professional. I’ll definitely do business with these folks again.

I purchased this Benelli M4 about a year ago. It’s been one of my “dream guns” since it became available, about 20yrs ago. It’s a great shotgun! You definitely pay the “Benelli tax” with this gun and I have put over $1,000 into the gun in upgrade parts. The gun is just fun. The standard sights are accurate enough to lob 1oz. slugs 75yrds from a rest. Mine are co-witnessed with an RMR. Some of these guns are shipped with a Benelli modified choke (3 slash marks on the choke), not cylinder-bore. If this is going to be your home defense gun and you like flite-control buckshot, some Benelli shooters have expressed that Benelli’s modified chokes might be causing patterns to open up at short distances and that switching to cylinder-bore choke corrects this. I am very pleased with this shotgun. The ARGO system cycles reliably while also reducing recoil. These guns are easy to modify. There isn’t even much maintenance to do.

Benelli M4, what can I say that hasn't already been said in these reviews. Its a GREAT shotgun, fun to shoot. The fit and finish was top notch. Added a Mesa tactical stock, and full length mag tube. Had great service from Buds as usual.

Smoothest semi-auto shotgun I have ever shot. After breaking it in, it has never failed to function not matter what it has been fed. After adding some aftermarket parts, this is my go to gun for checking out things that go bump in the dark on my rural farm

Fit and finish are flawless. Functions perfectly, although you must use heavy loads. I have only run about 60 rounds so far, as I understand it you must break it in with 200+ rounds of heavy loads before it may start cycling lighter loads. I tried a few game loads and it cycles some but not reliably. I will try those again after I get another 150+ rounds of heavy loads through it.

Added a Wad Wizard Supreme choke tube, can hit a 24"x24" target with all (9) .33 caliber lead balls of 2 3/4" 00 buckshot at 100 feet.

Extremely happy with this scattergun. Arrived quickly, with all the pieces and parts, got it assembled and now shredding targets to my hearts content. Buds has what I was looking for, and were great to work with. I will shop from Buds again. Thank you.

It's a Benelli M4. You get what you pay for.

It’s a benelli M4. Been in military service for over ten years and John Wick uses it. Enough said..... thank you Buds for having one available for me

What can I say, its a Benelli M4. At first I was like, is it really worth $2400? After shooting it, hell yeah it was. So much fun to shoot, probably my favorite in the collection. One thing to note; it does not like to cycle low recoil loads. It will cycle any brand or load as long as it is NOT low recoil.
As for buds, fast shipping, even in these times. Only took 1 week.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. The whole Bud’s Guns experience sucked. I will never ever buy anything from Bud’s . The absolute most difficult experience I have ever had buying anything on line, bar none. Never again. Then when the shipping department didn’t include a copy of Bud’s FFL and my FFL needed it I called and after a 35 minute hold the little soy boy scum hung up on me. Never buy anything from these idiots.

What can I say. The M4 is utilized by the US military and it is a Benelli. I have owned an M1 for several years and bird hunt exclusively with it. I watched several reviews on this shotgun including Hickok45's videos and it confirmed what I already knew. The Benelli's are superior shotguns. I cannot answer if it is worth the money compared to other shotguns but it functions reliably and appears to be superior. I purchased the Freedom Fighter Tactical accessories to be 922R compliant and extend the magazine capacity. You can watch their videos on what you need to increase capacity. I fired several rounds of buckshot at steel targets on my range. The gun patterned nicely with Winchester 2 3/4 inch defense loads. I did not even notice the recoil.

Great firearm would buy again.

My whole experience with purchasing my Benelli M4 from Bud's was nothing short of outstanding! Placed my order on a Saturday, it arrived at my FFL 4 days later and I picked it up the following day. The entire process couldn't have been easier. As for the M4, it's just a beautiful shotgun! It came partially disassembled which made for giving it an easy pre-fire cleaning. And the performance was flawless! I ran 25 rounds of Winchester 12 Ga. 2 3/4" 9 Pellets #00 through it without a problem. I did consider about the cost, but now that I’ve held it, fired it, assembled and disassembled it a few times, I love it, love it, love it! Absolutely no regrets!

The Porshe of semi auto shotguns. It will shoot anything from birdshot to slugs without any issues. Hang on to your wallet but You pay for quality

Best shooting shotgun I've ever owned!

This is my third firearm purchase from Budsgunshop.com. I must say that I'm been impressed with the duration of time that it took for my order to shipped and to be received by my local FFL. Okay, this is an honest review of my purchase of the Benelli M4 through buds. The whole process was extremely smooth and there weren't any mistakes from the order online to delivery to my FFL. The firearm comes completely disassembled, so be ready to put this shotgun together at your FFL location. Take your time and be patient, the Benelli M4 is an extremely well made shotgun that is exuberant with craftsmanship. You have to place the slide pin in the bolt and hook the bolt to the trigger assembly. You might need to move the trigger assembly out to get the bolt to hook onto it. Then, the final part is to attach the barrel to the receiver... if you own a shotgun it's all self-explanatory from here on. The purpose of my description is to give everyone a heads up what to expect. I made the mistake of going to my FFL on my lunch break and almost didn't have enough time to complete the transfer.
I'm very pleased with my purchase, as I should be with spending $1,800.00 on a shotgun. Well worth the money. Quality over quantity.

So, I bought the M4 on a whim. I already have plenty of hunting shotguns, but I thought I would add the Benelli M4 before any type of scary "tactical shotgun" ban in my state. My plan was to throw it in my safe and have it as a collectors piece. In the days leading up to the M4's arrival, I had buyers remorse. I made all sorts of excuses; "it was too expensive," "I already have a bunch of 12 gauges shotguns," etc. Boy was I wrong. This thing is fantastic! I took it out of the box and was amazed by the quality. I bought 500 rounds of 00buck and went to my range. It is accurate, groups well, and not a single FTF/FTE. If you have the cash, grab one. You won't be disappointed.

Runs Great! Very smooth action! Definitely a keeper!
