I was in need of a semi auto shotgun for hunting, home defense, and just putting rounds down range. I carried the Benelli M1014 in the Marine Corps and loved the operating system. I did not have benelli money and have a buddy that worked at Benelli recently and said I wouldn\'t go wrong with a M3500 as a great budget shotgun. Boy oh boy was he right! Got it today and probably put 50 rounds down range right out of the box and it brought back immediate memories of my trusty M1014! The gun didn\'t care much for the light target loads out of the box (they supply counterweights for these if you want) but it sure loves my 00BuckShot. I see many years of fun and love out of this bad boy and the experience of ease with Buds is the icing on the cake. Buds you\'ve earned another customer and as for the Stoeger I give it an A .
