Got the gun a couple of weeks ago. This is my second no problem deal with Bud's. Loved the price and Bud's free shipping.
I finally had time to go to the range and break it in this week. I started with the .40 barrel in it. I shot 50 rounds of GA Arms FMJ, 50 rounds of Federal FMJ from Walmart, and 5 rounds of Cor-bon 150 gr JHP (my carry preference) without a hitch. It took a little time to get used to the DAO trigger. I am used to a Ruger and a Taurus that are both DA/SA. I was able to get the touch down and put every round in the center of center mass. I carry and shoot for self-defense and am too old and shaky to worry about target shooting. A 3-4 inch grouping is fine with me.
I changed out the barrel to the .357 Sig and put 50 rounds of GA Arms FMJ, 50 rounds of Remington green box FMJ, 5 rounds of Hornaday 124 gr JHP, and 5 rounds of Cor-bon 125 gr JHP. Towards the end I was getting tired so a friend fired 2 mag of the .357. He did get one FTE, but we agreed that it was most likely due to a limp wrist. I had no problems. I could feel the difference with the JHP being a little more likely and the Cor-bon felt hotter than the Hornaday.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I was able to complete filling in my caliber blanks with one purchase. I already had a .380, a 9mm. and a .45.
