Heritage Rough Rider 22LR/MAG 6 1/2" Factory Blemish
[RR22MB6BL]
$165.00
by Steven I Date Added: Thursday 28 July, 2011
I bought one of these from Bud's a few weeks back and got to shoot it today for the first time. The pistol functioned fine BUT, at seven yards, it consistently grouped three inches left of center. This was with 50 rounds of CCI minimag and 50 rounds of Winchester Dynapoint ammo. I let another shooter fire it and same results, so, no, it wasn't me.

I am going to change the cylinder to the .22 WMR and take it back and shoot it with this higher velocity ammo. My hope is that it will group more to the center of target with the WMR ammo. Frankly, it's not much fun having a .22 plinker that shoots three inches left of center at seven yards. God knows how far left it would shoot at 25 yards!

Don't know if I should try to return it to Bud's or if they would even take a return on this item since it was a clearance price. Perhaps I should take it to a gunsmith to look at.
