A blast to shoot! I love it, but the 12 yo grandsons love it, can handle it well and love popping cans & targets with it. Well made, very happy with the purchase.

Fit, finish and quaility control is not what it should be.

PROS: Classic shotgun. Perfect for rural life in Indiana. Great for rodents and other pesky varmits that can ruin your property. Not to mention it’s a great home defense shotgun. CONS: Stiff action, even after 1000+ rounds. No auto ejection of shells. 410 rounds are hard to find these days.

Completed my small caliber Cowboy Action tactical collection with this shotgun. The 410 is fun to shoot with almost no recoil, so any family member can shoot it. I will need to add more 410 shotguns to my collection. This Stoeger 410 Coach, a Henry 22 Lever, and a Ruger 22 Wrangler are a perfect small caliber Cowboy Action Combo anyone can shoot. Gives you the old fashioned Tactical 3 guns which are fun to shoot, cheaper to feed, and each looks great - recommend all three guns.

This gun was shipped by Buds within 2 days of ordering, no problem getting it to my FFL dealer. I am giving the Stoeger 5 stars even though I would really like to give it 4 and a half due to the fact that it will be very tight when you get it. I had to really force the barrel to get it to open. The choke extractor was really jammed shut. There is a video online which shows you how to slick the action up. I used 800 grit wet sandpaper and lots of CLP to smooth out the contact points, was careful not to overdue it. Removed the extractor limiting screw and took out the extractor so I could polish it up. It was really scraping the sides of the area where it slides into the barrel assembly. Used a small wooden dowel and hammer to tap it out along with lots of CLP. It was that stuck. Took awhile to get it to slide. I think Stoeger should take a little more time finishing up these areas. I don't mind doing this work because it makes you more familiar with how all the parts operate. Once this was competed I took it out and did some target practice with both 3'' and 2 1/2" shells. Firing worked perfectly with both shells. Preferred the 1275 fps target shells with #8 birdshot in the 2 1/2" shells. Since the barrels are both fixed full choke, you cannot shoot steel shot, says it in the manual. I am happy with this coach gun, it is one cool gun, has some weight to it, stock is beautiful. For the price I think it is a really good deal. It is made in Brazil with the importing company located in Maryland. Customer service is great, they answered the phone both times I called and were very helpful. Told me to not tighten the extractor limiting screw all the way but to back off 1/2 turn to keep it from binding. Will have to check that screw after each outing. Very tiny, don't want it vibrating loose and falling out. Other than that I recommend the Stoeger 410 coach, I think with the proper care it will hold up over time.

I have the 12 gauge coach and that can kick like a mule at times. I picked up the 410 model so i can take with me to the ranch. I've already taken care of 6 rattlesnakes. No problems. and fun to shoot.

My coach gun is a well made solid firearm with no issues. The price is certainly good and having in in a challenging caliber like .410 is a plus. Based upon my experience I recommend this shotgun.
