Good solid shotgun that works perfectly so far. Finish is good for the price, locks up solid and has useful screw-in chokes.

My first one broke at the barrell hinge after a couple cowboy action shoots. I sent it back to Stoeger, and they sent me a new one. Customer service took care of it within a week, so I was happy about that. I have used the new one that they sent me about 30 matches so far, and it works like a champ.

Used for cowboy action, needs slicking up with the lighter thumb latch kit and chamber polishing, use thick walled AA shells and she shucks them every time. Beautiful finish very well made and a pleasure to shoot. all you need is a stage coach, team of horses and a box of gold and outlaws riding after you.

Fun to shoot,better hang on.A true scatter gun at distance. Reasonable price.

Stock and fore end are bulkier than I like. In my opinion, that makes the gun more difficult to handle and detracts from the fit and finish that l expect from stoeger. It also makes the gun a little heavier. Other than the bulk and fit and finish, it functions properly and very accurate when shooting slugs. I feel that it is a great gun for the money. The service that I received from buds gun shop was excellent as I have come to expect.

I am very impressed by this shotgun. Somewhat disappointed, because several months ago I bought a much more expensive coach gun, and this Stoeger is every bit as good as that one, and probably a little bit more solidly built, though less fancy. These days, the way I judge a gun is "would I buy it again?"
Yes, I'd buy the stoeger coachgun again. You'll gain little by spending more, and it's got a 5 year warranty.

Haven’t had it out to shoot but I’m giving it five stars on it for now ,I’ll update later for the shooting.

To the point, I would never recommend anyone buy a Stoeger! The external machining was not symmetrical on the receiver. When I took the gun apart I found three small rust spots inside of the receiver, articulating machined parts were so poorly manufactured they had to be ground and polished in order to fit properly. The guide pin on the extractor was bent and the extractor was pockmarked with machine marks that had to be ground smooth and polished to allow it to function properly. The pin that held the articulated parts of the safety was missing and I had to manufacture another. All this from a $500.00 Stoeger Supreme.

Buds was excellent as usual and the gun is better than I imagine. Set up with Mossberg safety and double triggers like the old savage stevens shotguns cant go wrong.

Nice looking double barrel. Kicks like a mule. Bought for bear problems at the cabin. They should be waking pretty soon. I've only shot slugs and some 000buck but I an attest she kicks. But I would recommend if your looking for a short side x side

Beautiful gun that will be used in CAS as well as being my main home protection gun. It is at my gunsmith's right now being slicked up with the main benefit being the action will soon fall open allowing the quick removal and insertion of shotgun shells. You can pay more or less for this type of gun but in my opinion this side by side shotgun is the best blend of high quality along with a reasonable price on the market.
